Future Eco Surf School is proud to have a team of resident coaches who work as a family, with people who have been working together for several years, and more than co-workers they are friends.
They all specialise in surfing as they are full-time surf coaches all year round. This means that being a surf trainer for this resident team is not a summer job but a career where consistency and commitment are the key to success.
Being from the Algarve or having lived here for a long time, they know the culture and geography of the area, which makes it easy for them to find the best surf spots every day.
All the surf coaches of our surf school are certified by FPS (Portuguese Surf Federation) or ASI (Academy of Surf Instructors) and stand out on the beach for their commitment to support their students in the water. This is especially important when the student is just starting out and developing their confidence with the ocean, the surf equipment, and the other surfers and guarantees a quick learning if the techniques are well understood.

Graça is proudly our “Social Surfing” ambassador and probably the best surfer you will ever meet! Not that she surfs like a professional athlete, but if you take into account that “the best surfer is the one who has the most fun of surfing”, then she really is the best surfer you will ever meet!
Graça is like a trip to India or Morocco – you either love it or hate it, but you will not remain indifferent. What is guaranteed is that you will have an authentic trip or you’ll meet someone truly authentic! It doesn’t sound like much!? We all know how much courage we need to have, in order to be who we really are, to don’t be held hostage from the other’s acceptance.
Our ambassador has had an intense life, often pushed to its limits, with very challenging moments that made her hit rock bottom, but also gave her the strength to learn to reinvent herself with even more determination and wisdom.
Graça works with us in the social sector, especially with risk groups, young people from socially disadvantaged neighbourhoods, adults recovering from drug or alcohol addiction, but also with people with special needs, cognitive, physical or mental health impairments.

”This invitation left me with a full heart! It is an honor to be able to participate and give my face to such a fundamental initiative, as the serious and conscious introduction of human ecology into the surf world. I am the mother of three surfers and I see surfing as an art form that teaches us how to surf life. Direct contact with nature, through the sea, is a blessing that I often see squandered by the greed and ingratitude that reigns in the sport. I believe that support and openness to look at this practice with a new perspective, can open up a real new world to surfing, and make it one of the great treasures of learning the art of living in complete resonance with nature.
I embrace this project with my whole being and believe that these are the projects of the future that will lead us to an integrated and harmonious life, where man and nature dance and enjoy life together.

A Graça é a nossa embaixadora ‘Surf-Social’ e provavelmente a melhor surfista que alguma vez irás conhecer! Não que ela surfe como uma atleta profissional, mas se tiveres em consideração que ‘o melhor surfista é aquele que mais satisfação tira do seu surf’ então ela é certamente a melhor surfista que irás conhecer!
A Graça é como uma viagem à Índia ou a Marrocos – ou se ama ou se detesta, mas uma coisa é certa, ninguém vai ficar indiferente 🙂 Garantido é que vais ter uma viagem autêntica e vais conhecer alguém realmente autêntico!
Não parece grande coisa!? Se pensarmos bem, quanta coragem precisamos e muitas vezes não temos, para ser o que realmente somos? Sem nos preocuparmos com o julgamento dos outros, dos seus preconceitos e principalmente não ficarmos reféns da aceitação dos outros para estarmos bem!
A nossa embaixadora teve uma vida intensa muitas vezes levada ao limite, o que também lhe trouxe muitos momentos bastante desafiantes, até mesmo sofridos, o que a fez bater no fundo algumas vezes, mas também lhe deu força para aprender a reinventar-se ainda com mais garra e sabedoria.
A nossa embaixadora colabora connosco na parte social, especialmente com os que estão em risco, sejam jovens de bairros socialmente desfavorecidos, sejam adultos em recuperação do abuso de álcool ou narcóticos, mas também na vertente dos que têm necessidades especiais, sejam elas cognitivas, físicas ou mentais.

Sou mãe de três surfistas e vejo o surf como uma arte imensa que nos ensina a surfar a vida. O contacto directo com a natureza, através do mar, é uma bênção que muitas vezes vejo ser desperdiçada pela ganância e ingratidão que reina neste desporto. Acredito que com acompanhamento e abertura para olhar esta prática com novos olhos, podemos trazer um verdadeiro mundo novo ao Surf e torná-lo por excelência um dos grandes tesouros para aprender a Arte de Viver totalmente em ressonância com a Natureza. “Die Einladung Botschafterin zu sein erfüllt mich mit großer Freude. Es ist eine Ehre, an einer so grundlegenden Initiative, wie der ernsthaften und bewussten Einführung der Humanökologie in die Surf Welt, teilzunehmen und mein Gesicht geben zu können.
Ich bin Mutter von drei Surfern und sehe das Surfen als eine Kunstform an, die uns lehrt, wie man im Leben surft. Der direkte Kontakt mit der Natur über das Meer ist ein Segen, den ich oft durch die Gier und Undankbarkeit die im Sport des Surfens herrschen, verschwendet sehe.”

Botschafterin für soziale Zwecke (Soziales Surfen)
Graça ist stolz unsere “Soziales Surfen”-Botschafterin zu sein und wahrscheinlich ist sie die beste Surferin, der du jemals begegnen wirst! Nicht, dass sie wie eine Profisportlerin surft, aber wenn man davon ausgeht, dass “der beste Surfer“ derjenige ist, der die Wellen am meisten genießt und der am glücklichsten mit seinem Surfen ist“, dann ist sie wirklich die beste Surferin, die wir kennen!
Graça ist diese Art von Person die uns nicht kalt lässt, sie ist wie eine wirklich authentische Reise des Wissens. Sie zeigt uns, wie viel Mut wir brauchen, um das zu sein, was wir wirklich sind. Sorgenfrei vom Urteil anderer, von Vorurteilen und nicht als Geiseln der Akzeptanz anderer zu sein.
Unsere Botschafterin hatte ein intensives Leben, das oft an seine Grenzen stieß. Es gab auch sehr herausfordernde Momente, die sie auf einen Tiefpunkt brachten, ihr aber auch die Kraft gaben, zu lernen, sich mit noch mehr Entschlossenheit und Weisheit neu zu erfinden.
Unsere Botschafterin arbeitet mit uns im sozialen Bereich zusammen, insbesondere mit Risikogruppen, seien es Jugendliche aus sozial benachteiligten Vierteln, Erwachsene, die sich von Drogen- oder Alkoholmissbrauch erholen, aber auch mit Menschen mit besonderen Bedürfnissen, seien sie kognitiver, körperlicher oder geistiger Art.
